humane society

The Humane Society was a lot of fun! 


First they let me feed and water the dogs! I filled up a lot of dog dishes with food, and water buckets/dishes too. The big buckets were for the big dogs like Bear. And the small water dishes were for the smaller dogs like Ethan. 

Next I pick up the cat toys! There were so many cats in that room! I counted 59 cats, but I am not sure if that is the exact number because they kept moving around! I liked Garfield the best!! 
Then I wiped the inside cat cages down! And I swept them out with a small broom and dust pan. 
Finally I wiped down the outside of the cat cages and the cats were trying to play with my rag! 


Me and my Mom looked at the adoptable dogs. Two of the dogs were very tiny. They were Itty and Bitty. I liked Bitty. It was a fluffy chocolate Pomeranian puppy. I hope some someone adopts them soon!! 

Going Tomorrow!

I have reached my goal!

I have $107.50 cents. Some I have earned, and some has been donated to my mission. THANK YOU to all the people who have helped me reach my goal!!! 

I am going to volunteer tomorrow at the Missaukee Humane Society, and give them my donation too! 

I wonder if they will let me play with the dogs and cats? I really hope I get to walk the dogs.  I am worried about some of the animals, and wonder if any have hurt legs. I am really excited to see all of the animals!!!

I know what I am doing is a good thing because these animals do not have homes and need food and water. It makes me feel happy to do good things for animals.

I am really excited to do this tomorrow! I hope you go help some animals too!!

A Dog Who Sent Me A Note

My aunts dogs sent me a note and it was funny! 
My aunts dogs name's are Stella,Deisel.


This is what the note said. My mom will type it because it is really long


Dear Logan, 
Our friends down at the ASPCA told us about your new blog when Aunt Shana and Uncle John were at work. We got on the computer and checked it out. It looks barkin', dude! Things can get a little ruff for dogs that don't have good homes. We earn extra bones by doing jobs around the neighborhood, too. People think we sleep all day, but really we are out getting our paws dirty and bringing home the bacon bits. We wanted to send you some doggy dollars to help your cause for paws. Uh, oh. My stellar dog ears detect the humans are home. We better get off the computer so we can wag our tails at the door. It's the dog days of winter! Thanks for being such a "paw"some kid!!!!!

With the $10 dollars that the dogs sent me and the $2.00 that I put in from my chores yesterday I have $42.00 now!!

Just Getting Started...

Today i told my friends about my blog and they started talking about it! They couldn't believe that I made my own website! 

When I got to my Grandma and Grandpa's house today, i shoveled the deck! they donated $20 to my big idea! I added that to my envelope, and also added $5 of my own. Now I have $27.00 total (I added $2.00 last night). 

my mom called the Humane Society and they said i could volunteer! i am happy to visit the animals!   

My Big Idea!

My big idea is to help pets. I'm 8 years old, and really good at saving money! I saw one commercial that helped me come up with the idea of saving money for pets. Some pets on the ASPCA commercial were tiny, and locked up in cages--left to die. On the commercial, they asked people to help the pets. 


I thought I would help the pets around my area! Whenever I earn money for jobs that I do, I will put some in my savings for myself, and some in my envelope for the animals. My goal is to earn $100-$200.00!!!!
